LEXUS LF-A CONCEPT

The LF-A concept was first introduced at the 2005 Detroit Auto Show as a mid engined 5 litre V10 super car designed to threaten the traditional sports car establishment.The car was then redesigned with better looking, slightly smoother less angular bodywork and brought back for the 2007 Detroit Show, and shown as a hybrid sports car.

What you can see here are of the second redesigned concept, thought to be very close to the actual production model. Lexus have hinted at the car reaching production several times, it has been see running trial laps round the Nurburgring.

Most recently it has been entered in several endurance races, and one time even raced by the Head of Nissan. A roadster concept convertible was also released – see the next post for more details of the roadster.
